Mr. Fischer is an attorney at the law firm of Bernstein Shur in Portland, Maine. His practice focuses on the restructuring of distressed businesses and insolvency-related litigation, and he has been recognized by Chambers USA for his work in the area of Corporate/M&A Bankruptcy.
Prior to joining Bernstein Shur, Mr. Fischer served three terms in the Maine House of Representatives, where he was the Chairman of the Appropriations Committee. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the University of Maine School of Law, and he currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Visitors of the University of Maine School of Law.
