Jesse Stewart (’12) Selected for Prestigious Peggy Browning Fellowship
Jesse Stewart, a second year student at Maine Law, has been awarded a 10-week fellowship from the Peggy Browning Fund. The fellowship enables Jesse to work at the National Labor Relations Board, Region 5 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was selected from over 460 applicants from 125 participating law school. His qualifications made him an outstanding candidate in the highly competitive application process.
The Peggy Browning Fund was established in memory of Margaret A. Browning, a prominent labor attorney who was a Member of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) from 1994 until 1997. Peggy Browning Fellowships provide law students with unique, diverse and challenging work experiences fighting for social and economic justice.
