Maine Law Student Wins First Annual Daniel T. Murphy Student Writing Competition

Darya Haag, a second-year law student at the University of Maine School of Law, was recently selected as the winner of the first annual Daniel T. Murphy Student Writing Competition.

Her paper was originally written for Professor David Cluchey's International Trade Law class, and focuses on Chinese intellectual property legal matters before the World Trade Organization (WTO).

As a result of this acievement, Ms. Haag's paper will be published in the Annual Survey of the WTO by the Richmond Journal of Global Law and Business, and she will recieve a $500 prize.
