New Faculty Appointment
Sarah Schindler Joins Maine Law's Faculty as an Associate Professor
Sarah Schindler will join the Maine Law faculty ranks in September 2009. She will serve as an Associate Professor of Law.
Currently a visiting professor at the University of Georgia School of Law, Professor Schindler previously practiced in the area of land use and environmental law at the firm of Morrison and Foerster in San Francisco and clerked for U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Will Garwood in Austin, Texas.
She graduated sum cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law and taught as a guest lecturer at U.C. Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall) and at U.C. Hastings College of Law. Prior to law school, she worked as a television actor in Los Angeles, with appearances on Beverly Hills 90210, That 70s Show, Third Rock from the Sun, and other shows.
At Maine Law, her research and teaching will include property law, land use regulation, administrative law, and environmental and marine law.
