The University of Southern Maine (USM) and Time Warner are offering Road Runner Internet service at a reduced rate to USM faculty, full time staff, and registered matriculated students.

Wireless Printing

USM has implemented a Laptop Payprint System. This will allow students to send B&W print jobs wirelessly from their own laptops (Windows and OSX supported), and have the print charges automatically deducted from their USM Card account. Exam Software

The Law School requires students who wish to take their exams on their laptops to download Exam4 software. Exam4 is like an armored word processor. While you are taking an exam, nothing else can get in or out. Exam4 turns your computer into a dedicated essay exam-taking machine.
